The Institution of Engineers (India) has established Mechanical Engineering Division in the year 1954. This Division consists of quite a large number of corporate members from Government, Public, Private sectors, Academia and R&D Organizations.

Institution of Engineers (INDIA) Student Chapter of Gudlavalleru Engineering College, Mechanical Engineering department inaugurated on 30th October 2012 by Dr.T.Srinivas, Professor In Energy Division, Vellore Institute of Technology, Vellore. and also Dr.T.Srinivas delivered guest lecture on "Role of Mechanical Engineer in The society"

The Executive Committee was constituted with the following member

Conducted a guest lecture on "INCREMENTAL SHEET FORMING FOR RAPID MANUFACTURE" by Sri RAKESH LINGAM, a research scholar from IIT Hyderabad dated on 27-02-2015.

The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is a professional association that,in its own words,"promotes the art,science and practice of multidisciplinary engineering and allied sciences around the globe" via "continuing education,training and professional development,codes and standards, research,conferences and publications,government relations,and other forms of outreach".Founded as an engineering society focused on mechanical engineering in North America,ASME is today multidisciplinary and global.It was formed in the year 1880.ASME has over 1,40,000 members in 158 countries worldwide

It has established Mechanical Engineering Division in the year 2015.This Division consists of quite a large number of corporate members from Government,Public,Private sectors,Academia and R&D Organizations.

GEC ASME STUDENT CHAPTER of Gudlavalleru Engineering College, Mechanical Engineering department inaugurated on 11thSeptember-2015 by Dr.Viswanath Chinthapenta Department of Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering,IIT Hyderabad.

Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) Student Chapter

The Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) is the leading National Professional non-profit making Society for the Technical Education System in our country with the motto of Career Development of Teachers and Personality Development of Students and overall development of our Technical Education System. At present, ISTE has a very large and an effective membership base consisting of more than 1,02,985 Life Members, 5,54,094 Student Members, 2410 Institutional Members (including IITs, IISc.., NITs and other leading technical institutions), 1214 Faculty Chapters and 1322 Students’ Chapters and 17 Sections throughout the country.

Indian Society for Technical Education Student Chapter of Gudlavalleru Engineering College, Mechanical Engineering department was inaugurated on 29-01-1999 by Prof.Y.Venkata Rami Reddy, Vice-Chancellor, JNTU, Hyderabad.

The major objectives of the ISTE are
  • Providing guidance and training to students to develop better learning skills and personality.

  • Providing quality training programmes to teachers and administrators of technical institutions to update their knowledge and skills in their fields of activity

  • To assist and contribute in the production and development of top quality professional engineers and technicians needed by the industry and other organisations
